MOTHER’S DAY

The sad reality about Mother’s Day is that not everyone is able to celebrate this holiday. That realization has made me open my eyes even more to see how thankful I am to have a mom to celebrate and be thankful for. Especially how blessed I am to have the mom that I do.

My mom really is a blessing for me and my family. A gift from God. No one will truly understand the love and compassion that is in her heart other than God. I am guilty of not being as appreciate as I should and taking advantage of her kindness. But always in my heart I know how much I am loved by her.

Even though she knew I got her flowers last minute on my way home from church, she still acted surprised and had a smile on her face. That shows her character. Always acting in a way for others rather than herself.

All I can say is thank you and I love you. She is the cutest and most loving and loveable little woman in the world and I’m blessed to call her my mom 🙂 I can’t thank God enough for giving me the privilege to live this life under her wings.

I saw God today.

Did you?
